Bar Six Appaloosas

We have been raising appaloosas since 1987.  We entered our first leopard in The Alberta Horse Improvement Program in Red Deer in 1995. The majority of winners were solids. After that there was some questions about the breed losing its identity, and the association started the F system on the registration of the appaloosa breed. We decided to strive to have our appaloosas with as many generations of appaloosa breeding as possible.  Some of our horses are four generation appaloosa on both sides.   We love our horses but due to our personal situation we have to let them go.

Our Stallion Eddy was injured last spring and unable to breed therefore none of the mares are pregnant.
